Accessibility Statement

This site is built so that visitors using screen readers, keyboards, and other assistive technology can browse the work and reach us like anyone else.

Our standard

Prizm Vizual builds to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, with WCAG 2.2 additions applied wherever practical. In plain terms, the site is designed to be perceivable, operable, and understandable without a mouse, without sound, and without perfect vision.

What that looks like here

  • The page starts with a skip-to-content link for keyboard and screen reader users.
  • Every interactive element shows a clear focus outline when you navigate by keyboard.
  • The menu, the gallery tabs, and the image viewer all work with a keyboard alone, and the viewer closes with the Escape key.
  • Every render and photo carries descriptive alternative text, including the images loaded into the gallery.
  • The animated prism header, the background video loops, and the scroll animations are all switched off when your device asks for reduced motion.
  • Text colors meet or exceed contrast requirements against the dark background.
  • The page reflows to narrow screens without sideways scrolling, and pinch-zoom is never blocked.
  • Contact form fields have visible labels, and the anti-spam field is hidden from assistive technology so it never traps anyone.

Known limitations

  • The Portasol film and the walkthrough videos are visual showcases without narration or captions. Nothing on the site depends on watching or hearing them; every project is also described in text.
  • The contact form relies on your browser's built-in validation messages, and after sending you are shown a confirmation page rather than a status message on this site. If a submission ever seems to go nowhere, email us directly.
  • The page-not-found (404) page is a minimal screen without the site navigation or skip link. It contains a single link back to the homepage.

These are on our list to improve, and this page will be updated as they are fixed.
